Educational Tour
Baffled by the different kinds of plants and trees while learning Science in school? The different kinds of leaves, shapes and flowers simply drive you nuts? Have no fear and join our Educational Tour in Bottle Tree Park and let Uncle Willie share with you his passion and knowledge of the plants and trees.
Educational Tour at Bottle Tree Park is a 45 minutes walk round the park to familiarise visitors with the plants and fruit trees that can be seen in the park
Plants from Australia such as the Grass Tree or Black Boy (Xanthorrhoea Glanca), Bottle Tree (Brachychiton Rupestris), Zamia Palm (Macrozamia Moorei) are among the majestic trees featured in the park.
Visitors to the 7½ hectare park will be able to identify the various fruit trees such as the Dragon Fruit, Eggfruit, Pulasan, Mangosteen, Longan, Durian, Jackfruit, etc.
To add colours to the park are flowering plants like the Spider Lily or White Space (Hymenocallis Speciosa), Japanese Rose and Giant Spider Lily (Crinum Amabile).
Among other plants much admired for their beautiful foliage are the Variegated Screwpine (Pandanus Tectorius), the Pony tail or Elephant Foot (Beaucarnea Recurvata) and Dwarf Geometry Tree (Bucida Molineti).
We welcome nature lovers to join us for a walk round the park and appreciate what nature has in store for us and our effort as we continue to strive to preserve the environment.
A tour around the park will cost a nominal charge of $3/- ++ per pax with a minimum number of 30 pax.
1) Exotic Trees from Australia and the Fruit Trees
Minimum number of 25 pax is required for the tour. Cost per pax is $3++. For just $5.00, fruits will be served as refreshments after the tour.
2) Organic Vegetable Farm Tour
There is a minimum group of 20 pax at just $5.00 per pax for the tour to commence. All participants will enjoy a complimentary pack of Organic Vegetables.
