Have you ever encountered love at first sight? Here at Bottle Tree Pte Ltd, we certainly did. It was love at first sight that led to Mr. Alex Neo to purchase the Bottle Trees at $30,000 each to realise his dream and the dream of 2 others. A dream to create a concept village where there will be sports, recreational facilities, conference rooms, eateries and more.
Armed with the Bottle Trees and nothing else but determination, Mr. Alex Neo and Mr. Colin Chia overcame every obstacle in 2004 to transform what once used to be a PA Canoe Park into the current rustic village located in an idyllic and serene corner of beautiful Sembawang.
There were many who thought that they were crazy to develop the project but the vision to realise their dreams remained strong. There were limitations, due to the space available, to what they could do. After a couple of months of renovation, Bottle Tree Village (宝瓶村) was transformed into a venue where one can experience alfresco dining by the sea under the stars and be pampered with fine wine and good cuisine.
Today, Bottle Tree Village has become a landmark attraction in Sembawang where friends, families and companies meet and interact over food and drinks. This tiny step is a giant leap to the fulfillment of 3 men’s dreams.
